When asked about her work with the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, Mother Teresa would simply respond, "Come and see."

I have worked with numerous ministries domestically and internationally in the last 20 years, however, working with Graffiti 2 is one of the most rewarding experiences God has ever brought into my life.  I have seen God open the hearts of the people of the South Bronx because of the work He is doing through Andrew Mann and Graffiti 2.  Andrew is not only organized and focused, but he has a passion for the people of the South Bronx that is humbling and inspiring.  I have no doubt that God has His hand on this ministry and will continue to bless and lead every effort to change this generation and those to come for the Kingdom because of the work of Andrew Mann and Graffiti 2.

It was amazing to see the connection that Andrew Mann has with these children and families.  He truly has been blessed by God with a special ability to reach out to these children.  There were a couple of times during the camp when a kid would get upset or angry about something that had occurred on the court and no one could calm them down or engage them to rejoin the group.  But, Andrew would bring Proof (his therapy dog) over and within minutes those kids would be calmed down, smiling, and ready to re-join the group.  It was a beautiful and amazing thing to witness!

Our team had worked an Upward Basketball camp the previous summer in another area of New York. They left feeling discouraged that there wasn't enough churches in the area to foster and support the children when they left.  We didn't have that concern when we left this time, because we knew that Andrew and Graffiti 2 would be there for the kids in this neighborhood!

"We were fortunate enough to be on the first mission team to visit Mott Haven in August of 2005, shortly after Andrew Mann had accepted his new assignment and moved there.  We were even more fortunate to lead a team that would return a year later.  On the second trip, the neighborhood was easily recognizable, but not it's overall attitude.  In less than one year, Graffiti 2 Ministries has provided hope to what we considered a hopeless situation when we left the first year.  It has reaffirmed our belief that God can produce miracles in places where they are sometimes hard to find.  We have been truly blessed to be a small part of this ministry."
